The SRG crew specializes in the careful removal of invasive and aggressive species from sensitive environments.
For this restoration project on Kiawah, we used expert plant identification and employed precise tools and selective herbicides to avoid harming the aquatic ecosystem. This effectively removed the harmful invasive species, creating space for native plants to thrive, and in turn supporting the health of native vertebrates and invertebrates. This process enhances biodiversity, helping to maintain the resilience and overall health of our Lowcountry ecosystems.
